Some time ago a close friend in my life shared this song with me, telling me how it reminded me of her husband, and how he didn't give up on her during a time she was trying to figure things out. It brings her to tears every time she hears it, saying about her husband, "I love him so much. He stood firm when I wasn't, and that's what I needed."
He didn't give up.
I want to be that man that won't ever give up, and I am so grateful for those who have never given up on me.
