Back to the Blank

What do you see?

For an artist, a blank canvas can be an exciting opportunity ...or a daunting challenge.  One can be
overwhelmed to the point where they are paralyzed to do anything about it.  Or sometimes their hands cannot simply keep up with their imagination.

Or sometimes their head goes blank.  And they get frustrated.  Because there is simply too much to create, to expose, to show.

And that's where I am right now.

Sometimes it can be intimidating to have so much time to write and be.  But I have to tell myself to put something down on paper, even something small like this, to get the ball rolling again.

And here I go.  Back to the blank.

Lord, make me aware of my total unworthiness, my desperate need for You, and the immense joy You bring into my life.
