What Pope John XXIII, Pope John Paul II, and Pope Benedict XVI all have in common in three pages

...the Catechism.

So this evening I wanted to read something by St. JPII. I picked up the Catechism (first time in probably years), and I read this on the first page:

"Apostolic Constitution, Fidei Depositum, John Paul II, 

....The Second Vatican Ecumenical Council, which was opened 30 years ago by my predecessor Pope John XXIII, of happy memory, had as its intention and purpose to highlight the Church's apostolic and pastoral mission..."

Then I read on the next page:

"In 1986, I entrusted a commission of twelve Cardinals and Bishops, chaired by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, with the task of preparing a draft of the catechism..."

Along with Pope Francis, ALL THREE OF THESE POPES WERE THERE IN ROME TODAY. #mindblown #pickupacatechism
